What aisle width does our forklift need?

Aisle width is set by the lift truck and its load. Counterbalance trucks commonly need about 12–13 feet, reach trucks 8–10 feet, and very-narrow-aisle equipment 5–6 feet. We confirm the truck manufacturer’s requirement for your pallets; aisle width strongly affects storage density.

How is a pushback rack project priced?

Pallet positions, height, beam capacity, decking, freight and installation all affect the quote. Share pallet size, maximum load per level, usable height and building size; we will draw a free CAD layout and list the project costs by item.

How long does delivery and installation take?

Standard teardrop sizes often quick-ship; high-density systems and non-standard sizes take longer. Lead time is confirmed on your quote. Installation duration depends on bay count, site readiness and the work sequence around your receiving and shipping.

Which rack system should we choose?

For many different SKUs, selective teardrop rack gives direct pallet access. Pushback provides two-to-six-deep last-in, first-out lanes by SKU, pallet flow rotates dated stock first-in, first-out, and drive-in stores bulk quantities of a few items. Long material needs cantilever; case picking calls for carton flow.

What determines the price of cantilever rack?

The cost follows your load position count, rack height, arm rating, load supports choice, freight and installation scope. We need pallet dimensions, the heaviest load on each level, clear height and building dimensions to prepare a free CAD layout with itemized pricing.

Choosing Between Rack Types

Four things decide the answer: how many SKUs you carry, how many pallets you hold of each one, how fast product turns, and how much height the building gives you.

Many SKUs with a pallet or two each point to selective pallet rack. Several pallets of the same item favor pushback. Date-driven rotation calls for pallet flow. Large volumes of a few items in a tight footprint suit drive-in. Long material needs cantilever, and case picking needs carton flow.
