Selective Pallet Rack
The most universal pallet racking system for direct access to every pallet position.
Norwood's industrial buildings are compact, older, and surrounded by neighborhoods — which usually means no room to expand outward and a tight dock to work with. The only direction left is up.
We lay out pallet rack systems for buildings exactly like these, where every foot of aisle and every inch of clear height counts. Call (513) 957-3017 with your pallet sizes, forklift, and ceiling height and we will send back a CAD layout with a real pallet position count.
Landlocked buildings along Smith Road and the Norwood Lateral rarely have the option to lease another 10,000 square feet next door. That changes the objective from convenience to pure density.
We work the numbers hard in these layouts: bay widths matched to your actual pallet footprint, aisles sized to your specific lift truck, and beam elevations set to your real load heights rather than round numbers. Small adjustments add up to entire rows.
Tight sites also make installation logistics matter. We schedule deliveries and installers around limited dock access and street parking so the project does not stall your receiving for a day. And since we are only minutes away, follow-up work is quick.
Nearby areas we work in regularly include Smith Road, the Norwood Lateral corridor, Forest Avenue.

Every project opens with the details that shape a layout: pallet footprint and weight, forklift type, usable clear height, SKU count, and how deep each item is stored.
You get a CAD layout showing pallet positions, aisle widths, and beam elevations, plus an itemized quote. In a constrained building, we will usually show two versions so you can weigh maximum density against easier picking.
The line covers selective racking, push back, drive-in, pallet flow, cantilever, and carton flow, along with wire decking, pallet supports, row spacers, column protectors, and end-of-aisle guards.
After approval we order steel and schedule installation. Installers anchor, plumb, level, label, and capacity-tag each bay, working in phases so the dock stays usable. Additional bays, reconfigurations, and relocations are handled by the same installation team later.
